Royal Niestern Sander - Complet Building kit 'Easymax'

At Centraalstaal, we delivered the complete building kits for the EasyMax general cargo vessels "Egbert Wagenborg" and "Maxima," the largest vessels ever built in the north of the Netherlands. Developed and constructed by Royal Niestern Sander, these next-generation open-top ice-classed vessels boast a load capacity of 14,300 tonnes and a hold capacity of 625,000 cubic feet.

 

The EasyMax series was designed with sustainability in mind, featuring extremely low fuel consumption combined with a large load capacity. The unique design includes the bridge and accommodation positioned at the front of the ships, maximizing hold volume and reducing overall tonnage. This innovative approach also enhances stability and reduces fuel consumption.
